Dad and I went to the light station yesterday to make sure everything was going well with the lens tours that were happening. Of course everything was going well as usual, with the terrific volunteers and the members of the USCGA on hand how could it not go well?
Anyway, Dad and I did spend some time in the East House and had quite a few visitors and that was fun although no one gave me a treat and only one person took my picture. It was a slow day from my point of view (Dillon has a point of view, really?)
Dad did take some pictures a couple of which I even liked:
This was not one of them though, he just wanted to show that people came for the lens tours, there is not even a dog in this pic!
I do like this pic:
My favorite picture he took was this one:
One of the many terrific volunteers at Point Cabrillo, Nancy Thornburn landscaped the East cottage and we think it looks terrific as it is starting to really grow in. I love flowers and so I am very excited that we have even more growing around the light station. (As I have said before, Dillon really does like flowers and he stops and smells them every chance he gets).
OK, well I guess that is all for now, thanks for reading my blog.
